IMPORTANT NOTICE: 3 apartments in Building 25 Lascelles Blvd. were broken into on Sept 15 at around 11:30am. Video shows that one of the perpetrators stood in the lobby and entered into the building behind a resident who opened the door with their access card. That perpetrator went to the west end side door and let 2 other people in, after which they ran up the stairs and onto floors. There was NO forced entry into the 3 units. This means that the perpetrators either had a copy of the master key to the building (each apartment has one master key that opens every single apartment door) or they had a "bump" key that "picks a lock" without damaging the lock or door. The police have taken evidence and reports from the apartments and are investigating. They also have copies of the video showing how they got into the building, and possibly when they exited. This is a major reminder to NEVER let anyone in the building behind you. You have no idea who you are letting in.
